In the role of Manufacturing Specialist working in Wheat Ridge, CO, you will serve as a key technical resource supporting the continuous improvement of the Forming Department, IS Machines, and associated support equipment. You will drive operational excellence through process optimization, troubleshooting, training, and implementation of World Class Supply Chain initiatives that deliver results in Safety, People, Quality, Service, Cost, and Sustainability. This role plays a critical part in workforce development, leading apprenticeship and technical development programs, enhancing standard operating procedures, supporting capital projects, and partnering closely with production teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing operations


What You’ll Be Brewing: 

  • Serve as a technical resource supporting the continuous improvement of the Forming Department, IS Machines, and support equipment.
  • Drive process optimization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Lead apprenticeship, onboarding, and technical development programs to build workforce capability.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, evaluate skill progression, and create individual development plans for employees.
  • Review, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Verify and standardize equipment setup practices to ensure consistency across teams and shifts.
  • Lead preventive maintenance initiatives and ensure completion of critical maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate and manage job changeovers, including planning, communication, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Support quality initiatives through process audits, verification activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Sustainability.
  • Assist with benchmarking activities, new technology trials, and capital project implementation.
  • Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to production, maintenance, and operating teams.


Key Ingredients: 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 10 plus years of advanced forming experience and 5 plus years of Forehearth experience preferred 
  • Forming Coordinator experience desired
