The Headlines:    

In the role of Distributor Sales Executive CT / DC / DE / MD – Coors Spirits Company, working / living remotely and working on the Spirits portfolio performance, attain goals for distribution, volume & velocity.

You will ensure alignment on annual goals and strategic plans with Coors Spirits Company Leadership and Distributors in each state monthly, quarterly, and annually.

You will be working in each state every month multiple days per week with our Distributor partners driving execution, engaging Retail Partners, and positioning our portfolio for growth.

This position reports to a Coors Spirits Company Division Sales Leader.

  

The Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Coors Spirits Company internal teams to craft annual sales plans for CT / DC / DE / MD built off brand strategy and brand calendars with specific nuances to ensure state level success
  • Lead CT / DC / DE / MD sales, marketing, promotion, pricing, merchandising, and execution efforts with Distributors
  • Manage the flawless execution of those business plans with selling stories, retail sales tools, merchandising resources, and consumer engagement tactics
  • Engage as necessary with CSC Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and Finance to manage all aspects of the business
  • Work side by side Distributors in market monthly to identify opportunities and develop our physical Distribution footprint and establish sustainable and successful retail sales velocities
  • Develop world class relationships Distributors and Customers understanding and embracing their strategies and finding opportunities for our brands
  • Being a highly skilled communicator and sales professional, with exceptional negotiation skills
  • Possess a constant desire to learn and grow, while exhibiting integrity and commitment to personal accountability

  

The Other Qualifications:  

  • Role will be based in CT / DC / DE / MD
  • Bachelors’ degree required, Master’s degree valued
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the three-tiered alcohol distribution system in the United States
  • Spirits Category knowledge in general or specific to Bourbon / American Whiskey is preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years Sales / Marketing experience specifically is required at the Supplier or Distributor Level, Spirits experience preferred
  • Direct Distributor Management experience over multiple Distributors or Chain Sales Experience is required over multiple Regional / National Account Customers
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship development skills required with Distributors and Customer Partners in the Off and On Premise
  • Strong data analysis and insight generation skills required, exceptional functional capability in creating presentations using the full suite of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Tactical Sales Budget and Travel & Expense Budget Management experience required
  • Entrepreneurial, growth, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to learning and performing simultaneously
  • Travel expectation is 40%-60% monthly

Job Posting Grade: 10

Job Posting Salary Range: $100,600 - $144,700
