Crafted Highlights:    

As the Safety Lead in Trenton,OH you will be a key member of the site Safety Team, responsible for leading and supporting comprehensive safety, industrial hygiene, Ergonimics and incident management programs. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will help ensure compliance with OSHA and General Industry Standards by developing and executing safety initiatives, managing risk, and auditing for regulatory and internal compliance. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and advising teams on preventive measures to mitigate occupational health and safety risks.

In addition to supporting incident response and documentation, you will collaborate closely with brewery leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance. This includes contributing to strategic planning, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and serving as a trusted resource for safety-related concerns across the site.        

 

The role maintains data integrity, supports brew line performance, and executes plans such as DDS, WDS, and 90-day initiatives. Compliance with Molson Coors policies and quality systems (SQF, HACCP, GMP) is essential to uphold product safety and quality. 

   

What You’ll Be Brewing:   

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures across a range of critical topics, including confined space entry, lockout/tagout, working at heights, walking and working surfaces, machine guarding, risk assessment, powered industrial trucks, dock and trailer safety, PPE, incident management and all other Safety Programs. This role involves coaching employees on unsafe or noncompliant behaviors, providing on-the-floor education to reinforce safety protocols, and ensuring consistent adherence to compliance standards. Additionally, it includes developing and maintaining emergency response plans, conducting regular drills (e.g., fire, spill, evacuation), and coordinating with external emergency services to ensure effective response readiness. Support and coach WCSC principles that includes Master Plan, 90 Days plan, represent EHS Pillar through  coaching Daily Managements Systems (EHS Trigger, QRP, JSA, Safety Maps, etc.) at Trio and Department DDS meetings. All other responsiblities, tasks and duties assigned by Safety Manager.         
  • Support the site's incident management program by tracking Open Reports, Action Items, Multi Cause mapping, supporting Line Leads on problem-solving efforts, and coaching leaders through root cause analysis to ensure corrective actions effectively mitigate risks. Additionally, contribute to case management and Return To Work activities as needed, helping maintain a consistent and proactive approach to workplace safety and incident resolution.        
  • Ensure compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal safety regulations—including OSHA and local fire marshal requirements—by maintaining current knowledge of applicable laws and standards. Support regulatory audits and inspections through thorough preparation, documentation, and coordination, helping to uphold a safe and compliant work environment.        
    Develop and deliver targeted safety training programs—including PPE, lockout/tagout, and confined space entry—while promoting safety awareness through Safety Stand down, safety moments, and site-wide campaigns. This role also supports the Safety Manager in fostering a strong safety culture across the brewery and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory safety requirements through ongoing education and engagement.        
  • Track and analyze key safety performance indicators (KPIs), such as TRIR, LTIR, and safety observations, to identify trends and recommend improvements to site leadership. Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data to drive action and enhance safety outcomes. This role also serves as the backup EHS Pillar Lead, requiring leadership of meetings and teams, enforcement of safety standards, and coaching on EHS tools including Quick Risk Predictor, Daily Trigger, Incident Elimination, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Safety Maps.        

Key Ingredients:   

  • Practical and serviceable knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety and health industry standards        
  • Experience leading, managing and analyze new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.         
  • Proven hazard and risk recognition skills            
  • Strong communication and leadership skills. Capable of leading cross-functional teams.            
  • Must be able to assess and propose solutions for hazard elimination and work practice improvements       
  • Proficient in using multiple software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to document, analyze, and communicate EHS information."            
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel based EHS reports and dashboards using pivot tables, charts, formulas, and linked spreadsheets to track, trend, analyze, and present safety data (e.g., incident counts, classifications, body parts, root causes) to support decision making and continuous improvement.   
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present information data and propose solutions based on identified gaps.         
  • Ability to travel internationally. Up to 5% annually.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $94,000.00 - $123,400.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
