In the role of Manufacturing Systems Engineer (Packaging) working in the Trenton, OH, brewery, you will be part of the Information Technology team. This role is pivotal in driving the integration and optimization of manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless operations, and leading strategic initiatives. This role operates as the primary point of contact between IT and packaging services and must be seen as a trusted and credible technology partner. Success in this role is someone who can influence stakeholders to appropriately leverage technology and is relentless in building stakeholder technology capabilities. This role has accountability to help develop and apply automation and control technology solutions to realize continuous improvement and process optimization opportunities.
This position reports to the Manager of Brewery Systems and works closely with Systems Engineers to support automation integration into MES plant floor SCADA architecture, will function as the technical lead for future MES solutions, supporting system changes and serve as a brewery project lead for integration opportunities in enterprise-driven capital projects impacting their brewery.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Provides a high degree of technical support to on-shift Engineering Technicians.
- Provides ongoing coaching and training to Plant Operations and Technicians to improve plant proficiency in the use of plant visualization, MES solutions and supporting software systems.
- Ensures sustained integrity and stability brewery Process Automation and MES solutions in a 24x7 operating environment through strong governance and best practices.
- Ensures Process Automation, MES system software and hardware at appropriate revision levels.
- Responsible for software change management and version control of the production instance of the process automation system.
- Work in lockstep with solution delivery teams and provide expertise to influence improvement/design of solutions

- Able to be an active initiative management (IM) pillar member to ensure change initiatives are integrated smoothly into production across the brewery
- Provide after-hours coverage on a rotational basis
Key Ingredients:
- You have a bachelor’s in engineering, computer sciences or related field is preferred.
- You have previous manufacturing experience (3-5 years) in MES Systems and/or programming is required.
- You have knowledge of GE Proficy, GE Historian, OPC, SQL, Rockwell PLC, Wonderware InTouch and SAP
- You have experience in the following (preferred):
- IT Service Management and Delivery experience or ITIL Foundation Certification
- Project Management experience or PMP Certification

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $92,100.00 - $120,900.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
