In the role of Line Lead - Utilities, working in our Trenton Brewery in Trenton, OH, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the utilities department, ensuring safe and reliable supply of utilities to brewery operating departments. This role manages labor, processes, and compliance with regulations while driving performance improvements aligned with the Compelling Business Need (CBN) and Site Master Plan.
Through rigorous application of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) methods and tools, the Line Lead ensures operational excellence. The position carries 24-hour, multi-shift accountability for delivering business results and building departmental capability. The Line Lead leads, motivates, and develops a high-performing team, applying robust people management practices and fostering effective coaching and communication. Additionally, the role maintains plans and standards focused on safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Develop and lead execution of the department 90-Day Plan to address losses and build capability. Acts as a point of contact and champion for longer term problem solving activities.
- On the floor coaching: DMS execution, loss elimination, and skill development/technical mastery. Coach and mentor team to deliver departmental KPIs the right way, aligned to the World Class Supply Chain pillars. Identify talent needs, and develop plans to close gaps.
- Leads and executes the DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings, ensuring prioritization and execution for the actionable items for that day. Owns the DDS Safety & Quality Triggers, CIL DMS & Defect Handling DMS.
- Leads the execution of critical safety, cost, quality, efficiency and technical aspects of the utilities operation and associated equipment.
- Develops capability within the team including reliable operation of that equipment by leading team to understand and execute maintenance concepts for installed equipment including asset care routines and practices.
Key Ingredients:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Science or Business or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in large facility utilities operations and maintenance, inlcuding regulatory compliance.

Ability to build, lead and manage a team (e.g., talent and performance management, feedback and coaching)

Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the Brewing, Packaging and Supply Chain departments as it relates to utility resource and quality requirements.

Understands and is able to apply the principles and practices of Molson Coors World Class Supply Chain

Ability to analyze data and recognize detrimental trends that could impact the company through increased costs, potential regulatory issues or risk management impact. Adaptive to learn and use MCMS for data management, tracking and traceability.

Knowledge and demonstrated capability of SAP.

Possesses basic machinery/system technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.

Understands planning and scheduling techniques associated with asset care management.

Experience with process operations and its equipment including awareness of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) routines and practices and focused on eliminating defects and maximizing machine availability.

Exhibits the flexibility needed to respond to frequent changes in production requirements and/or systems and equipment failures.

Familiarity with process control systems, computerized data logging systems and production database operations, mechanical systems dynamics and basic electrical systems. This includes the components of the various systems such as pumps, valves, timers, relays, drives, fans, etc.

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $84,000.00 - $110,200.00 (posting salary range) + 15% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
