Numbers, prices, tax structures and analysis are in your DNA while you are not afraid to pick up the phone and ask questions. In the role of Pricing execution analyst Revenue Management – Ontario and West, you will be part of the Revenue Management team and facilitates revenue and profit maximization across the business unit through fact-based analysis supporting price, promotions, trade terms and portfolio management by channel.  Price/Revenue Management represents a powerful strategic lever that supports the business unit in its competitive efforts in the Canadian market.

 

The Revenue Management Analyst supporting our WEST/Ontario team is a pillar in providing price strategy, competitive price analysis and promotional effectiveness expertise while being a crucial liaison with the regional Pricing teams internal and external, with Sales and Brand Marketing.

 

This position reports to the Pricing Strategy & Analytics Manager – Ontario and West and works closely with the sales teams, finance, channel marketing and category solutions to drive holistic recommendations

 

Main Deliverables:

 

You own/host pricing meetings for Ontario which includes

  • Achieve cross-functional coordination needed to develop and implement pricing strategies for all strategic brands including our Global shared services.
  • You own the relationship with the liquor boards and act as a liaison to ensure price accuracy in our systems and track changes, and process adjustments required.
  • Provides leadership and analytical insights by interpreting market data (price, promotion, business and financial indicators, consumer research) to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations
  • Employs pricing instruments to support development of category, portfolio and brand pricing and promotional strategies
  • Manages the price data warehouse and compiles diagnostics and pricing/promotion performance scorecards
  • Supports consumer pricing research and market price information
  • Supports regional pricing teams in Revenue Management related requests
  • Manages price and price discount submissions to external price administrators

 

You Support and lead promotional strategy

  • Drives development of promotional guidelines using promotional effectiveness tools
  • Supports Sales force in making recommendations to improve for promotional effectiveness through in depth analysis and modeling
  • Works closely with IT and defines systems requirements for pricing and promotional effectiveness tools

  • You love a challenge and want to tackle complex projects
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering and continuous improvement 
  • You are renown for your communication/ presentation skills
  • You have 3+ years' progressive commercial experience in trade marketing, finance, business intelligence or strategy with demonstrated success in turning analytics and insights into actionable recommendations
  • You are proficient in excel and other tools to maximize and fast track your analysis. You are curious about new tools and on going seek efficiency and improvement to enable more capacity.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or another analytical discipline

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $67,700.00 - $88,800.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
