The Headlines:  

In the role of Distribution Quality Specialist working in Toronto, CA you will ensure that all current Quality & Food Safety legal and Company requirements are implemented in full across the Warehouses and Trade Market in the Canadian Market, performing audits and market visits across the Country (assess quality procedures in place, visiting retail/Beers Store facilities, gives feedback and assess them based on MCBC quality standards)


This position reports to the Director, Supplier Quality Management and Market Quality Excellence , and works closely with other internal partners including Quality, Packaging, Distribution/Warehouse, Beverage, Packaging/Dispense R&D, Innovation and Commercial teams, and external partners to whom MCBC has Distribution/Production agreements.

The Responsibilities: 
•    Identify Quality issues and improvement opportunities both in Market and Distribution Network (incoming products, product handling through transportation and MCBC facilities, new products launch). Take into account incident reviews, complaints trends, legal changes and regulator guidance and advice. Assure effective consistent implementation of these standards by influencing  the leadership teams and other stakeholders.
•    Create and maintain documentation and reports related to Distribution and Trade Quality (create quality standards for new processes in the Distribution Network, document changes in processes, implement the Market Quality Excellence program in Canada, Consumer and Customer Complaints reports and trend analysis)
•    Provide support and technical guidance where necessary to the Warehouse team  and represent the company in any interactions with enforcement agencies related  to Quality & Food safety in the warehouse. Also responsible to advise crisis leader on all technical compliance matters related with warehouse.
•    Support WCSC  in the development and implementation of Distribution and Commercial management programs

The Other Qualifications: 
•    You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience
•    You will have  2+ years in manufacturing quality; 1+ years’ experience in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment; 1+ year in commercial, distribution, packaging and/or warehouse operations
•    Advanced degree/experience in Packaging is preferred.
•    You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy  
•    You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.
