In the role of Regional Manager – Barley Program working in Monte Vista, Colorado you will be part of the Brewing, Innovation and Quality team.  You will implement and manage all aspects of a complex regional agricultural supply chain. This role is a unique blend of team leadership, sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, procurement execution, plant operations, and logistics management. 

  

This position reports to Sr Category Manager - Barley Program and works closely across U.S. Supply Chain teams. 

  

 

What You’ll Be Brewing: 

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of 7+ talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations  
  • Responsible for agronomy and operations teams that can be spread across the geography of up to two states, requiring significant travel, approximately 20% 
  • Independently executing a regional barley origination plan: leading a team of seven to fifteen operations, sourcing, and technical staff, overseeing multiple plant operational activities, managing adherence to contracts, and implementing sourcing and supply strategy 
  • Second level of management in assessing issues within barley supply chain and meeting day-to-day customer and stakeholder procurement needs
  • Managers in the Barley Program must be working managers, willing to spend time in our elevator plant environments and willing to assist operations staff as needed
  • As Regional Manager, this role will also lead barley quality management programs for the entire department and may be asked to manage other department wide initiatives
  • The scope of the Regional Manager role in Colorado also includes a 1,200 acre farm operation dedicated to research and certified seed production

  

Key Ingredients:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in agricultural related field OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of agriculture  
  • You have at least 7 years experience in  in agricultural commodity sourcing, merchandising, logistics, or plant operations 
  • Must be comfortable working in remote and rural environments. 
  • This role will be exposed to barley dust, to which some are allergic. 
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities 
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome   
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $97,400.00 - $127,900.00 (posting salary range) + 15target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
