The Headlines:  

In the role of Development Coach - Integrated Work Systems (Supply Chain), working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the Corporate Supply Chain team.  You are accountable to deploy WCSC Systems and Standards, focusing on Autonomous Maintenance (AM), but supporting all Pillars to build WSCS capabilities at all levels.  You will be responsible for building capability and providing guidance to operators, maintenance team, department leaders, and site leadership on opportunities to improve overall engagement and sustainment of the integrated work systems within WCSC.
 
This position reports to the WCSC Pillar Lead, and works closely with site teams across the network, other regional pillars, and external stakeholders.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coaching and influencing line operators, maintenance team, department leaders, and site leaders, as well as pillar owners, and eventually external stakeholders to ensure integration of work and activities are aligned to drive and sustain business results.
  • Responsible for leading and accelerating the culture and strategies for new ways of working across the Supply Chain network, starting with shifting the culture on the production floor, and building towards an agile workplace with self-sufficient teams and pillars.
  • Coach the local pillar teams, ensuring capabilities needed throughout their network in the near term (6 to 18 months) have been identified and built ahead of the need.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement with 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain related roles
  • Ability to work in a variety of manufacturing environments, in the office, and from remote locations
  • Ability to travel up to 80% based on business needs and schedule
  • Experience deploying and auditing standard work processes using a holistic integrated approach such as TPM (total productive maintenance) or IWS (integrated Work Systems)
  • You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field.  Continuous improvement background (Six Sigma Green / Black Belt Certified) is preferred.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy  
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the supply chain network
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
