The Headlines:   

In the role of Unit Manager – Packaging, located in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the Packaging Operations Team in brewery operations.  You will be responsible for leading and motivating operational teams for the effective operation, quality, asset care and optimization work of a packaging business unit. You will also ensure high quality products are produced cost effectively and safely through maximizing operational efficiency. You will utilize Molson Coors World Class Supply Chain principles and work practices which contribute to world class standards of operation. 

 

You will lead packaging operations towards the vision of a high-performance team culture and drive change management initiatives to continually improve both plant and process operations to meet World Class Operations Standards. You will contribute to the packaging group on site developing short term tactics and contributing to the brewery strategy over a 5 year time horizon. 

 

This position reports to the Sr. Manager Operations - Packaging and works closely with brewery operational teams.  

 

The Responsibilities:  

  • Lead & manage operations production supervisors to ensure all performance targets related to Value, Quality, People and Service are met in line with the business plan. 
  • Oversees capital project creation and implementation 
  • Supports asset care of packaging equipment 
  • Drives continuous improvement 
  • Supports brewery safety, sustainability and environmental initiatives 

 

The Other Qualifications:   

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment 
  • Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Chain Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives  
  • You are serious about delivering results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development  
  • You possess a BS or BA Degree, an advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred. 
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in manufacturing operations management with demonstrated business improvements.
