The Headlines


In the role of Trade Quality Specialist working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team. You will provide technical leadership and raise the level of awareness of beer, the brewing process, our products and the quality of our products with distributors, sales and retailers.


This position reports to the Safety Manager Quality Assurance and works closely with other leaders in the organization


The Responsibilities:


  • The Trade Quality Specialist is the key contact with distributors and field sales to ensure the brewery’s quality levels are met or exceeded
  • You will play a liaison role with distributors serviced by the brewery by proactively addressing all quality and supply issues and bringing quick resolution to all issues
  • In this role you will be responsible for the safety and quality of our products by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related Molson Coors SQF guidelines
  • You lead the brewery Trade Quality efforts and partner with the distributor to ensure an appropriate resolution to all issues raised during the annual Distributor Quality Audit and Distributor Hotline Calls


The Other Qualifications:


  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or a related field - Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in brewing or allied industries with experience in product/package quality, scheduling, packaging and distribution processes
  • Working knowledge of order handling systems and tools, finished goods systems, logistics, distributor return systems and consumer information analysis application and systems
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain dynamics
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy 
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
