The Headlines

In the role of Supply Manager- Sales & Marketing Services, working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the North America Commercial Procurement team.  You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies for 3-5 categories including regional sales & marketing, charitible donations, consumer sampling, Canadian dispense and other consumer engagement activities, worth an estimated $40M in spend.  Working within our 7S platform, you will focus on supplier management and segementation, risk mitigation, strategic sourcing, MWBE growth, and ensuring good stakeholder relationships.  In addition, you will have an opportunity to execute activities related to contracting, negotiations, business reviews and cost savings.

 

This position reports to the Category Manager- Sales & Marketing Services and works closely with cross functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales, Media, Sponsorships, and other commercial functions.

 

The ideal candidate for this role brings experience in negotiating contract terms with vendors and partnering closely with stakeholders to meet the complex needs of the business. Creative problem solving is a must.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead vendor negotiation and implementation activities while ensuring contract compliance.
  • High degree of Supplier relationship management (300+), including resolution of contract issues and support with payment questions.
  • Execute category objectives while leading US, Canada, and Latin American stakeholders in the commercial space.
  • Drive stakeholder discussions and internal alignment across company priorities such as diversity spend.
  • Maintain and contribute towards a cost savings target.
  • Assess and manage category risks and opportunities.
  • Manage category annual operating plan cycle and support budget processes.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to successfully execute category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in multinational category management and international teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
