In the role of Supply Manager – POS working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the POS Merchandise Procurement team.  The Supply Manager will define, implement and manage all sourcing activities of POS spend categories.  This includes: overseeing operational activities, managing adherence to contracts, developing supplier scorecards, managing cost-saving initiatives and implementing sourcing strategy.  This role is the first level of management in assessing issues and meeting day-to-day customer and stakeholder POS procurement needs.  Ideal candidate will be working closely with Procurement team as well as the Marketing team to help develop strategic category strategies.  We are looking for someone who’s positive, motivated, enjoys a challenge, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


This position reports to Sr. Category Manager - POS & Merch and works closely with cross functional teams and provides support for POS Merch buyers.

 

What You’ll Be Brewing:  

  • Oversees a set of established or less complex POS spend categories.
  • Answers functional department questions as they arise on assigned POS categories.
  • Works closely with stakeholder groups to ensure you are the trusted business advisor
  • Interacts regularly with stakeholder leaders to provide state of the business updates
  • Influences direction and development of POS items
  • Recognizes and supports the need for change management
  • Identifies relevant sources of supply and innovation
  • Negotiates agreements as necessary
  • Manages strategic supplier relationships.
  • Develops supplier scorecards and facilitates regular supplier reviews to track savings, supplier performance and service levels.
  • Monitors contract compliance.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for continuous improvement of quality, service, cost, etc.
  • Understands key value and cost drivers of supply markets and suppliers.
  • When appropriate for a category; manages inventory levels against targets, value contracts, invoice & payment issues, etc.
  • Identifies cost savings opportunities in the development of POS items.
  • Involved in budgeting and forecasting processes for spend categories.

 

Key Ingredients: 

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of procurement experience
  • Anticipates and responds to business opportunities and emerging trends based on changing market and competitive environment.
  • Optimizes sourcing strategies and quantifies impact on people, process and technology.
  • Applies knowledge, tools and processes to benefit and improve supply management.
  • Understands and applies some basic continuous improvement methodologies or tools in daily job.
  • Works with a mid-term perspective in addressing stakeholder's goals to deliver corresponding benefits.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong problem solving skills

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $83,200.00 - $109,200.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
