Crafted Highlights:
In the role of Supply Manager –Metal Packaging working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the Procurement team. The Supply Manager will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies for metal packaging in North America as well as supporting other supply chain and cost saving initiatives in the metal packaging space. You will use strategic sourcing principles including spend analysis, market intelligence, contract management, negotiations, risk mitigation, and supplier management skillset. You must be self-driven, a team player, organized, complex problem solver, and comfortable speaking to a wide range of audience including senior leaders.
This position reports to the Category Manager of Metal Packaging and works closely with cross functional teams across North America.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
• Responsible for delivering category results objectives on a North America level, including cost savings targets
- Manages category suppliers, including supply assurance, score carding and monitoring KPIs
- Reviews daily and short-term horizon capacity with suppliers, and provides input to long-term sourcing and contracting strategy
- Manages updates on Market Insights & understands movements in key indexes (LME, MWP, UBC)..
- Manages and communicate pricing, reconciliations, and invoice disputes. Ownership of ordering PO/Payment process.
- Ensures reporting process on inventory management & forecast creation communications to vendors are executed on time. (Long Range forecast & executional forecast)
- Supports all qualification activities relating to the metal packaging space. Liaison between vendor and stakeholders relating to timing and plan of qualification activities.
- Supports updates to leadership teams on priority action items within the category.
- Participates in project management organization (PMO)-led projects through supplier communication and execution (initial system setup and ongoing price management)
- Manage stakeholders and be able to partner with internal stakeholders, especially Material Planning, R&D, Engineering, Breweries & Finance, and , regarding category strategies, risk management, and budgeting
- Lead negotiations and implementation activities and ensure contract compliance once agreement is signed
- Responsible for assessing and managing category risks and opportunities
- Responsible for managing category annual operating plan cycle and support budget processes
Key Ingredients:
- You will have 3 or more years of relevant Procurement and/or Supply Chain experience. Experience in category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and contract negotiation skills.
- You will be skilled in contract management, spend analysis, and e-sourcing tools experience. Industry certification (ISM, CIPS) is preferred, not required.
- You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $83,200.00 - $109,200.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
