The Headlines:  

In the role of Sr. People Development Specialist working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Americas People Development team.  You will lead the design, development, and execution of functional onboarding and professional development programs for the Americas Commercial Marketing organization based on their priorities and needs.  You will travel to Chicago 2 – 3 days a month to spend time with your client group.

 

This position reports to the Director of People Development - AmCom and works closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and project managers to build and embed people development capabilities into the business.

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor program effectiveness, and continuously improve to maximize business impact.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand capability needs, build relevant learning and development modules to embed development capabilities into the business and monitor the effectiveness and impact.
  • Build capability in others through coaching, facilitation and certifications.
  • Execute learning delivery strategies and standards to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Stay current in best practices and trends for adult learning
  • Liaise with vendors and people development team to ensure vendor solutions meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with people development team and support prioritized projects and development initiatives regardless of their focus area.
  • Provide input on the way we evolve the First Choice Learning Center brand and purpose within the organization and stay current with best practices and trends for adult learning.

 

The Other Qualifications:

    • You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field OR equivalent experience (4+ years)
    • You have at least 3 years of progressive experience in HR, adulting learning principles, and modalities and building effective learning solutions and programs that deliver the desired outcomes and impact.
    • Experience working with Marketing organizations Preferred
    • You embody a client service mindset and operate as a value-added business partner with a solution orientation.
    • You have experience working in a matrix environment and managing vendors.
    • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. 
    • You exercise discernment and discipline in managing asks and priorities.
    • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.   
    • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.   
    • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.
