The Headlines:  

In the role of Sr. Director, Beverage Supply Chain & Partnerships, you will be part of our Supply Chain team. You will ensure distributor and retail customer inventory order levels are adequate to support retail objectives based on forecasted sales to retail. This position will monitor forecast accuracy and the impact to distributor’s and retail customer's days of inventory.  Additionally, you will balance demand with production capacities and manage exception processes.

This position reports to the VP, Supply Chain Planning, and leads a team of Supply Chain professionals that provide the main point of contact for MCBC distributor and retail customers. 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of 3-5 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations 
  • Provide leadership and strategy, by developing and implementing a comprehensive customer supply chain strategy aligned with company and customer goals. 
  • Develop and maintain effective Customer Relationship Management programs.  Building strong relationships with key customers and partners to understand their current and future supply chain needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with customer requirements.
  • Execute with operational excellence to minimize supply disruptions within the Supply Chain.
  • Manage supply chain operations, including forecasting, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics for both MCBC and the customer. Heavy focus on best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory levels and improve overall service.
  • Develop and enhance analytics / reporting across multiple systems and applications. Utilize data analytics to drive insights into supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.  
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting regular reports on supply chain metrics, trends, and action plans to senior leadership and key external stakeholders.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal teams to enhance collaboration. Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and visibility.  High emphasis on driving cross-functional projects that enhance overall supply chain effectiveness, efficiency and lower COGS.
  • Implement and develop a risk management strategy. Identify potential risks in the supply chain process and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.  Effectively develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business OR equivalent experience (10+ years) in the field of Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Production Planning in consumer goods. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
