The Headlines:   

In the role of The Tax Technology Specialist in Milwaukee, WI. The Tax Technology Specialist will support the relationship between the Global Tax Team and our internal and external technology partners, as well as support the Team’s technology vision and ambitions to modernize our global tax processes. Reporting to the Tax Technology Manager, this role will be responsible for serving the Tax Team as a business partner, leveraging and building on existing technology solutions to drive a culture of continuous improvement, and identifying and implementing cost-effective solutions to raise the Tax Team’s effectiveness. The Tax Technology Specialist will have ample opportunities for technical growth, as well as professional and career development in an environment that fosters continuous learning, collaboration and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a technology specialist to make a significant impact by leveraging technology solutions to optimize our tax processes. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is preferred, but not required.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • As a subject matter expert on tax technology matters, work closely with Tax Team stakeholders to understand their technology requirements, and support the identification and implementation of process improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce errors.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance, problem solving and training for our existing tax technology platforms, ensuring that continued best practices and controls are followed.

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Tax, IT and Finance teams to identify opportunities for the automation of tax processes and the efficient use of new technology.

 

  • Conduct formal and informal learning sessions and training for Tax Team members and other stakeholders on effective utilization of technology and tools, and process improvement solutions.

 

  • Support the creation and maintenance of tax process documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.

 

  • Stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in tax technology, including software developments, automation, and data analytics.

 

The Other Qualifications: 

 You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

  • You have at least 4 years experience in IT, data analytics, systems design or related fields.
  • Experience in SAP or similar4 ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge in automation tools and technologies, including data analytics tools ( data extractions, transformation, and visualization, SQL, Power Query, Power Bi, and Tableau.)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
