Crafted Highlights:    
In the role of Senior Project Manager – Engineer (PM) working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Technical Services department.  You will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing between 3 and 10 projects varying in size from $500k up to more than $20M at a time.  You will refine the scope of a project, with the assistance of the plant project teams and consulting engineering firms, to finalize a +/- 10% confidence level budget. 

  

This position reports to Sr. Manager – Packaging Design, Execution and Optimization, and works closely with the Integrated Supply Chain teams. 

  

What You’ll Be Brewing:  

•    Initiating:  The PM will typically engage in projects after receiving a business case from the Capital Planning team and Corporate Strategic Engineers. The PM will begin forming the project team, therefore, an outgoing personality, good communication, and strong negotiation skills are a required.  The PM reviews and issues technical requirements and Requests for Proposals and Quotes (RFP and RFQ) to our OEMs/Consultants/Engineering Firms to begin the design efforts that will drive the project into execution. 
•    Planning: You will work with an engineering consulting firm to define the scope and finalize the design and prepare with the Construction Manager a package ready for construction bids, purchase equipment and materials, and execution of the project. The technical expertise and problem-solving skills of the PM will lead the team to identify Value Engineering opportunities to deliver the optimal value to the enterprise.   
•    Executing / Monitoring / Controlling: You will hold periodical meetings (usually weekly) for each project, maintain action lists, schedules and risk registers, publish meeting minutes, and refine the business case to be presented through a stage gate process for approval to execute. You will monitor and control the quality of deliverables, holding daily construction meetings as required, ensuring that safety is of the utmost priority. You will be required to maintain monthly and annual forecasts of the project expenditures, provide Estimates at Completion, and deliver the project to the satisfaction of the customer and in alignment to the deliverables. 
•    Closing: You will be responsible for documenting when the project has been completed, conduct startup audits, and validate performance guarantees on installed equipment.  
•    Travel associated project development, design and equipment readiness, and project construction through commissioning will be required. 

  

Key Ingredients: 

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, other related technical engineering field, or related years of experience 
•    The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in a project management role and 8+ years of experience in a beverage/food manufacturing environment. 
•    Strong ability to manage deadlines, spend, and coordinate multiple stakeholders. 
•    You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy. 
•    You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.  
•    You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $109,100.00 - $143,200.00 (posting salary range) + 15target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
