The Headlines:   

In the role of Sr Finance Analyst, Procurement working in Milwaukee, WI you will provide financial support related to Direct Materials Procurement COGS and will be a key liaison to the Operations Finance team to clearly communicate performance drivers, explain monthly results, provide key insights for the full year forecast, and challenge monthly results. 

 

This position reports to the Sr Manager Ops Finance – Procurement and works closely with the Procurement group, Data Management Org, the Brewery finance teams, and Corporate Ops Finance. 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Finance support related to Direct Materials Procurement COGS; responsibilities include the following:
  • Key liaison to the Operations Finance team to clearly communicate performance drivers. Explanation of Monthly of results, provide key insights for full year forecast and challenge monthly results as well as corresponding LE and R&O cycles.
  • This role will support spend categories within Packaging materials.
  • You will act as the financial point of contact for Direct Materials pricing.  You will be expected to continually improve, streamline, and standardize processes, reducing non-value-added activities and seek opportunities to leverage SAP to minimize manual processes. 
  • Validate and track performance on Purchase Price Variance; contribute to Annual Operating plan process and Direct Material Standard setting.
  • Will look for the Sr Analyst in this position to drive efficiencies in reporting and transactional work and to continue to expand the role.

 

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR equivalent experience (3+ years) in the field of progressive corporate finance experience, CPA preferred
  • You have SAP Knowledge
  • You have a solid understanding of Manufacturing Operations
  • You have a solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • You work with a sense of urgency in resolving issues with good follow-up skills
  • You have strong leadership skills and the ability to influence without formal authority
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
