The Headlines:

In the role of the Senior Financial Analyst – Global Business Services (GBS) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be responsible for finance support to various functions within and outside of GBS for budgeting, planning/forecasting, reporting, and analysis in a variety of areas.


As part of the support effort, you will be responsible for explaining and understanding variances to budget and prior year for GBS departments, coordinating the annual budget planning process, and providing insightful financial reporting for the leadership team. This role will be heavily involved with the global migrations and provide support through learning and understanding and executing existing processes before streamlining and transferring knowledge to the GBS centers. This role also has month-end accounting responsibilities and is responsible for quarterly SOX consolidation for GBS and supports GBS Continuous Improvement initiatives.


This position reports to the GBS Finance Director and works closely with our various GBS towers in Milwaukee and Romania, as well as other finance functions in North America and Europe. 



  • Provide financial support for GBS to include monthly actual expense tracking, forecasting, and reporting. In addition, business case development for migration projects. Lead the tracking and reporting of financial and non-financial measures to ensure alignment to and progress against our long-term goals
  • Develop the necessary business acumen and thirst for learning to understand new processes, stabilize and streamline them, before transferring the knowledge to the appropriate GBS center
  • Take the initiative to make process improvements that drive insights and efficiency
  • Use financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide insightful analysis of root causes and develop and execute practical and effective solutions to help drive business results
  • Use accounting principles and knowledge of internal controls to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information
  • Build relationships with internal GBS teams and external stakeholders, especially functional tower leads
  • Responsible for accounting, budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis.
  • Work closely with all areas internal and external to GBS to gather the necessary inputs for key deliverables and develop relevant insights, for example scorecard reporting and labor efficiency savings
  • Provide accurate and timely consolidation and understanding key drivers of financial and operational results
  • Complete journal entries and other required tasks and reporting for month-end/quarter-end/year-end close
  • Support GBS Continuous Improvement initiatives, taking the initiative to make process improvements that drive insights and efficiency, as well as tracking and reporting of continuous improvements.


The Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • You have a high level of attention to detail
  • You have a thirst for learning – you will be learning new processes and gaining a good understanding to be able to stabilize and streamline them before transitioning the knowledge to our GBS centers  
  • You have the ability to manage competing priorities among several stakeholders and excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions as necessary
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You challenge the status quo in order to eliminate inefficiency and improve end to end processes
  • Your actions are fueled by strong customer service influence, and you demonstrated the ability to effectively influence and collaborate without formal authority
  • You perform complex ad-hoc analysis with large amounts of data to develop concise explanations
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and an expert user of Excel and have the ability to use macros and other tools to simplify processes. Knowledge of SAP is a plus
