The Headlines:  

 

In the leadership role of Solution Manager – Finance Integration working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America IT Solution Delivery team.  This is an IT solution delivery leadership role focused on managing teams and influencing stakeholders as a subject matter expert.  This role will propose and successfully deliver Finance and Controlling integrated solutions aligned to strategic business requirements.  A successful candidate will be a thought leader, have an enterprise mindset, and possess the skills and acumen to effectively build strong, productive relationships within IT and the business and build trust at all levels of the organization.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Leads design and delivery of holistic Finance and Accounting solution with SAP as its core, including functional and technical integration to other software components.
  • Demonstrates the ability to compare and contrast SAP and other third-party solutions to help business leadership identify the proper solutions and capabilities to drive business value.
  • Leads cross functional requirements gathering sessions, conceptual design workshops, and delivery of solution proof of concept.
  • Leads the successful delivery of large and/or complex strategic initiatives including overall ownership and responsibility of the project lifecycle from concept to close.
  • Supports the project and contractual relationship with third party service providers as needed to ensure successful execution against statements of work.
  • Manages the expectations of IT and business leadership and serves as a trusted advisor that influences the overall solution and integration to support business initiatives.
  • Develops strong relationships with IT business partners, subject matter experts, and business leaders to collaborate on conceptual solutions and strategic projects to support business strategy.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops others.  Promotes an inclusive culture and exemplifies the core values of the organization.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree.  CPA or CMA certification equivalent is desired.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading development and documentation of AS-IS/TO-BE/FIT-GAP process models from requirements gathering through conceptual design.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a finance/accounting team lead and/or project lead for large-scale business transformation projects or programs.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct managerial experience leading teams with a successful track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing others.
  • Expert level knowledge and understanding of Finance and Accounting best practices and SAP Accounting, Finance, and Controlling functionality including process, configuration, and integration points to other SAP applications or modules including MM, IM, SD, PP/MFG, LE, EWM, APO, TM, HR/Success Factors, SRM, and ARIBA.
  • Experience with additional SAP ecosystem applications and integration points to SAP FICO including Ceridian, Kronos, Concur, and BPC.
  • Knowledgeable with SAP technical and integration components including IDOCs, Portal, PI, XML, BAPI/BADI, user exits, and ABAP.
  • Knowledgeable in project management and implementation methodology, including SAP ASAP methodology and agile within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience leading and facilitating requirements, fit/gap, and conceptual proof of concept efforts with process owners, stakeholders, and project resources.
  • Ability to work independently and thrives under pressure and ambiguity to drive results through stakeholder alignment and successful solution delivery.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to unforeseen issues and constraints that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy.
