The Headlines:
In the role of Solution Designer (SAP EWM/WM) working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the North America IT team. The person will build and/or run application solutions for an area of the business, keeping up on market trends and best practices to help identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert and works to be a great partner to the MCBC business community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering for functional enhancement of the processes and process improvements in business solutions as identified for various projects
- Demonstrating expertise in the technologies covered by SAP EWM
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business processes and software configuration related to SAP EWM
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Warehousing community within MCBC, defining business problems and translate then into solutions including analysis of alternatives available
- Author system specification documentation such as Configurational Rationales, Business process procedures and Functional Specifications
- Perform system configuration, functional testing and integration testing
- Lead an active role in the design, testing, and implementation phases of a project. Must be able to work in a team environment with regular interaction with project stakeholders
- Excellent problem identification, root cause, and corrective action to drive resolution
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal.
- Ability to influence change as well as manage rapidly changing technological and business environments
- Demonstrated passion for being the liaison between the business units, technology and project development teams
Qualifications Required:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree
- At least One full life cycle SAP Implementation projects with SAP EWM or WM which includes blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, developing, testing, go-live, user training and postproduction support
- At least four years of SAP Experience in area of SAP EWM, WM, IM and Logistics Execution
- At least two years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment with SAP EWM (9.0 or Higher) OR SAP WM (ECC 6.0 or Higher)
- Ability to interact with business users, project partners and third party system integrators working remotely
- Demonstrates thirst for learning systems and processes to support supply chain goals and projects
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of the systems development life-cycle, Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
- Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models, warehouse management and wireless technologies
- Ability to Travel to North America on an as needed basis in support of project deliverables workshops or site visits (Subject to local travel restrictions due to Covid-19)
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with Automation Systems, Material Handling Systems and other third-party applications is a plus
- Experience with Beverage or Consumer Products industry is a plus
- Experience with SAP HANA, SAP LE, SAP SD, SAP PTP, ABAP and SAP TM 9.1 or higher is a plus
