In the role of Shared Services Coordinator working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Global Business Services Team. Working within the GBS organization, there is a strong emphasis on simplification and standardization. We operate as a center of excellence for the entire Molson Coors business and set the standard for best practices across our company. You will be responsible for performing detailed and complex duties supporting the finance organization in operations, treasury and accounts payable.

The position requires the ability to use, modify, and create Excel spreadsheets to track, compare, and validate data along with the ability to review results to verify reasonability.

Experience in an accounting function and in using SAP is necessary since one of the key roles for this position is making journal entries that impact the financial results of the company. This position not only creates journal entries, but also must be able to verify the appropriate financial results of the entries. It also includes preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month end close process.

Due to the independent nature of the routine activities, the position requires demonstrated self-initiated actions because both internal and external contacts must be made in order to track inventory changes and balance sheet results. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required in order to interface with both internal and external customers in varying organizational positions.

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Product costing and standard setting; along with related month end close responsibilities with journal entry and balance sheet preparation
  • Management of the treasury mailbox
  • Accounts payable support including GR/IR account maintenance, park/held review, and statement review
  • Various ad-hoc special projects within GBS, including Hire to Retire, Record to Report, Order to Cash, depending on departmental need

 

Key Ingredients:

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred,
  • Accounting or Finance a plus
  • General office experience
  • Understanding of accounting principles and journal entry preparation
  • Ability to perform research, detect and correct errors, and use good business judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your
  • understanding of priorities.
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great
  • judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationship

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $0.00 - $0.00 (posting salary range) + 5target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
