Crafted Highlights: 
In the role of Shared Services Coordinator working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will provide operational support for Global Business Services - primarily in the accounts payable function. This role is accountable for the complete utility payment lifecycle, excluding the actual payment processing step. This individual directs the monthly approval process, ensuring timely review, stakeholder alignment, compliance with established controls, and avoidance of additional fees and penalties for a supplier portfolio of approximately 350 utility vendors. Accountable for resolving ACH returns. Assists in removing payment blocks while collaborating with Master Data and Procurement teams. Further assists in analyzing and resolving Ariba blocks. Accountable for MSKU costing- from receipt of MSKU information through costing and up to point of activation.

This role has ownership for Duplicate Payment reviews and resolution. Further, responsible for supporting vendor account reconciliations and resolving outstanding balances, unapplied payments, duplicate payments, and aged liabilities. Resolves invoice/payment inquiries (internal and external). This individual has a continuous improvement mindset and identifies and implements process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency within the Procure-to-Pay cycle. 

This role is part of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) which is a labor union representing office, professional, and technical workers across the United States and Canada.  

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Ownership for utility payment lifecycle
  • Ownership for ACH returns and duplicate payment review/resolution
  • Product costing and SKU activation
  • Accounts payable support including GR/IR account maintenance and statement review
  • Various ad-hoc special projects within GBS Accounts Payable

 

Key Ingredients:

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, Accounting or Finance a plus
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to perform research, detect and correct errors, and use good business judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; SAP and Ariba knowledge is a plus
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of priorities
  • You are confident, competent, and a self-starter. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships
