The Headlines:

In the role of Senior Counsel working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America Legal team.  You will be a leader in the development and implementation of Molson Coors Beverage Company’s processes to ensure effective negotiation and proper execution of commercial contracts for the Procurement Team. 


The Responsibilities:

Partner with members of the Procurement Team to understand their goals and the business opportunities and risks that the Procurement Team has identified in connection with those goals; identify legal risks associated with those goals and apprise the Procurement Team of those risks.  Serve as primary point of contact for Procurement Team members focused on intellectual property licensing agreements ranging from SaaS and data subscriptions to the supply of merchandising and point-of-sale materials.


Support the Procurement Team in the negotiation and drafting of contracts and ancillary documents with suppliers to ensure that goals are met while keeping the Asst General Counsel – Legal Ops & Procurement apprised of any outsized risks.

Improve existing contract templates and processes to enhance efficiency and risk mitigation.

Prepare and deliver training materials to educate colleagues about the use of, and periodic revisions to, contract templates.



You have a law degree and a min of five (5) years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or corporate legal department.

You have supported clients that have complex international corporate structures and multiple lines of business.

You have substantial experience drafting SaaS and data subscription agreements.

Ability to work independently with little supervision in a deadline driven environment while managing multiple, competing priorities, and maintaining attention to detail.

You are serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering, but you also have a sense of humor and enjoy getting to know your colleagues.

You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships.
