The Headlines:  

  

In the role of Lead EBS Customer Service Representative working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Guest Relations team.  You will understand the movement of beer and know how to use strategic measures to keep accurate inventory levels to deliver world class customer service to our employees and retirees at our Milwaukee Employee Beer Sales Store. You will use your strong retail knowledge to increase merchandise sales and achieve retail metrics, while having a passion for our products and a desire to work collaboratively with our customers and the Milwaukee Brewery.

This position reports to the Guest Relations Retail Supervisor and works closely with the Milwaukee Brewery and Guest Relations Teams.  

 

The Responsibilities: 

 

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with the Milwaukee Brewery to order, unload, receive and maintain accurate levels of beer and non-alcoholic products for the Employee Beer Sales Store
  • Use sound sales strategies to avoid dump beer cost to the Brewery                         
  • Use knowledge of retail merchandising and to work with the EBS Coordinator and Retail Buyer to source sellable items that meet the needs of our customer base
  • Understand and execute the intake of merchandise from quality checks to displays, with a plan to reach retail sales metrics
  • Train EBS personnel on the safe operation of the pallet jack and forklift while moving pallets of beer and merchandise
  • Maintain all equipment and advance all Brewery safety directives             
  • Support and collaborate with the EBS Coordinator on opening/closing procedures, inventory counting and reporting, Brewery communications and retail strategies
  • Act as “coordinator in charge” during the EBS Coordinator's absence and support the Retail Supervisor with training new EBS CSRs

The Other Qualifications:    

 

  • 1-3 years of retail experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Knowledge of Retail POS software.                                
  • Forklift and pallet jack certification.                               
  • Knowledge of Beer and Merchandise Inventory control measures.                                   
  • Ability to train CSRs on Retail Software and Forklift/Handtruck.                                         
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Brewery and Guest Relations leadership.                       
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.          
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication, team work, customer service, and leadership skills
