The Headlines:   

In the role of Regional Sr Quality Specialist working in Milwaukee, WI, you will report to the Strategic Partners Quality Manager, the Regional Beverage Quality Specialist will be responsible for leading the development and execution of MolsonCoors Beverage Company (MCBC) key brands manufactured at our licenced partner Breweries in Mexico, and South America. Provide planning and implementation support to ensure MCBC quality and food safety standards are maintained at licenced manufactures. This role will have direct responsibility for ensuring excellent communication processes exist between the licenced manufacture and MCBC, working with key Breweries to improve quality process and performance. Has the ability to represent the quality community for New Product Development initiatives, synergize any cross functional or cross department resources for the successful launch of MCBC strategic beverages

 

This position reports to Strategic Partner & Hygiene Sr Quality Manager

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Promotes quality excellence and reliable beverage execution within the MCBC strategic partners to improve overall quality, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance of our licensed partners to ensure MCBC product is manufactured against planned requirements.  Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement with MCBC strategic partners to ensure compliance to key process indicators/initiatives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day function of the analytical, sensory, microbiology and operational results from our licensed partners to ensure company policies and procedures are met.  Facilitate and partner with Corporate Quality to ensure any concessions / permits at the manufacture are submitted and approved to ensure the proper disposition of product the product meets MCBC strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct routine assessments of our licensed partners to improve the food safety systems, support ISC initiatives in the identification and qualification of new licensed partners as needed.
  • Serve as resource / coach for established quality standards and procedures, quality education, sanitation, and technical support to optimize existing equipment/processes and new technologies for MCBC licensed partners

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have at least 5-8 years experience
  • flexibility to travel globally and to stay connected across several time zones. Travel averages 50-60% but may vary. Travel of 2-3 weeks duration can be required for more distant geographies. Comfort with and respect for different cultures as well as excellent listening skills are all essential
  • Focused primarily in the Latin America and Caribbean but travel to other geographies will be required as business requirements demand. The job will focus on supporting production of Coors and Miller brands
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language, Spanish required with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Brewing or Beverage manufacturing environment
  • Black / Green Belt certification
