In the role of R&D Packaging Technologist II working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the R&D Packaging team. You will support packaging innovation, material optimization, and process optimization initiatives across primarily Canada (including Promotions) and LATAM markets by applying packaging materials knowledge, laboratory test methods, and structured project management practices.

 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, R&D Packaging and works closely with Quality, TS&S, Innovation, World Class Supply Chain (WCSC), Procurement, Project Managers, Breweries across Canada, the U.S., and LATAM, suppliers, OEMs, and Brand Marketing partners.

 

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Deliver packaging innovation, material optimization, and process optimization initiatives using foundational packaging subject matter knowledge
  • Apply knowledge of packaging materials and equipment interaction to support problem solving, troubleshooting, and development of technical solutions
  • Work within a defined project management stage‑gate process across concept, feasibility, and development stages, including execution of Packaging Test Plans
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with brewery personnel, suppliers, OEMs, and subject matter experts to support development of packaging standards, test methodologies, machine interfaces, and tertiary packaging processes
  • Support the build‑out and maintenance of packaging master data

 

Key Ingredients

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging OR equivalent experience
  • You have 0–3 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical field
  • You love a challenge and complete technical projects by applying problem‑solving and data analysis skills
  • You build relationships and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver results
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
  • You have a thirst for learning and continuously seek to build technical skills and capabilities

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $58,700.00 - $77,100.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
