Role Overview:

The National Supply Planner will manage the supply planning processes which determine brewing, packaging, distribution, inventory, and supplier requirements plans. In addition, they will own processes that oversee the execution of product supply plans, coordinate course corrections, and develop and implement contingency plans across the supply chain for Canadian innovation brands.


The Responsibilities:

  • Operates supply planning process for the purpose of developing and executing integrated product supply plans across Molson Coors.  Such businesses include 3rd party business (ie. Co-man, co-pack, partners, etc.), and new beverage businesses
  • Contributes detailed supply plans to S&OP process, and other product supply execution processes.
  • Provides supply plans to integrated supply chain Managers, Planners, and Analysts.
  • Assists in the creation and management of timely and accurate supply chain plans that deliver balanced results related to financial, quality, service, productivity and business growth that delivers Molson Coors annual plan.
  • Ensure supply plans are developed within the capacity limitations.
  • Identifies and builds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, primarily inside Integrated Supply Chain.
  • Supports planners and analysts across integrated supply chain in the execution of product supply plans.


  The Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of interdependencies of production and capacity planning, scheduling processes, distribution methods, inventory management, material flow and planning, Working knowledge of forecasting, transportation, distributor operations, sales.
  • Analyze large volumes of information; evaluate and resolve complex issues in rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
  • Advanced supply chain management systems and process knowledge. Knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to execute new strategies that provide Molson Coors with competitive advantage in the marketplace through effective product supply processes.
  • Ability to quickly assess situations, identify root causes of issues, generate multiple solutions, make sound decisions, and effectively communicate at multiple organizational and functional levels across Molson Coors.
  • Ability to quickly build and develop effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex, technical, and analytical issues in simple business terms to a wide variety of stakeholders across the enterprise.


Education level and/or experience:

  • 5+  years of experience in supply chain planning, operations management, or related discipline.

If You Have The Following…We Want To Hear From You!

  • Relevant Post-secondary degree/diploma with 1 – 3 years Inventory Management experience
  • Logistics or Production scheduling experience preferred
  • Excellent communication  and analytical skills
  • SAP or relevant inventory management experience
