The Headlines:   

 

The Machinist/Machine Repair Apprenticeship will be a (4) year apprenticeship when coming in with minimal skills. The position pays at a rate of $22.03 with potential to be higher based on meeting certain criteria. Credit may be given based on experience and should be listed as such.  Credits may be given for experience for the below experience:

  • Existing MolsonCoors Employee with Operations experience
  • Existing experience/employment at Machining/Fabrication Shop
  • ASE Certified Mechanic Experience (Diesel or Automotive)
  • Machine Build/Repair without card
  • WCTC or equivalent schooling for a Manufacturing Apprenticeship
  • Journeyman card holder from different trade (mechanical preferred)

This position reports to Manager Asset Care.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Machine repair of Brewing, Packaging, Shipping, and Utilities Equipment
  • Understanding mechanical repairs, parts fabrication, blue print reading
  • Completing the mechanical changeovers and tuning equipment
  • Predictive, Preventative, and Overhaul maintenance

The Other Qualifications:  

  • You have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED and must be 21 years or older.
  • Ability to work all three shifts is critical
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work at various heights (ladders, lifts, etc)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
