The Headlines:   

In the role of Infrastructure Operations Manager – Cloud Environments working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the IT Global Infrastructure & Environment team. The person ensures key IT infrastructure services delivered to Molson Coors business are both efficient & effective. This role is accountable for the oversight of 3rd party IT Service Providers to ensure the ongoing operation, maintenance and support of either Molson Coors global compute infrastructure.  At Molson Coors, IT services are delivered through multiple outsourced Global service providers and Cloud Providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google). These IT services support critical business operations and directly affect make-ship-sell beer processes, as such this role has significant responsibility in ensuring the services delivered from those outsourced providers operate without issue.

 

This position reports to the Director of Infrastructure Environment and works closely with application teams, supply chain, finance, international business units, cloud providers and our managed service providers. 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for managing relationships with third parties and internal staff to ensure the effective running of IT infrastructure, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties while identifying and developing process and solution improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain highly available and fault-tolerant cloud architectures, including VPCs, EC2 instances, load balancers, and auto-scaling groups.
  • Accountable to ensure activities associated with the monitoring, capacity planning, CMDB accuracy, analysis and reporting of infrastructure service provider performance versus SLA’s and agreed requirements are in place and effective.
  • Accountable to address service delivery infrastructure outages, incidents and problems ( following ITIL best practices), ensure proactive plans are in place  to identify and fix root cause analysis findings
  • Escalation point for IT infrastructure operations concerns from the business and IT Management. Accountable to ensure all business impacts are identified, discussed and communicated to the appropriate leadership teams as part of the service delivery and reporting cycle.   

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science OR equivalent experience (5+ years) in the field of modern infrastructure support and design.
  • You have at least 8 years experience in with IT infrastructure in server, storage, virtualization, cloud.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience managing or leading insourced and/or outsourced operations teams in a large-scale mission critical environment
  • You have experience in AWS or Azure cloud platforms with large enterprise footprint being managed.  Certifications are plus!
  • You have experience with data center: Server, storage, hardware & operating systems software management processes and technologies. (e.g. Highly skilled in VMWARE and associated server and storage architectures/infrastructures).  OS experience in Microsoft and Linux (SUSE or RHEL) a must
  • Travel 20% or Less
