In the role of IT Security Control Assessor based in Milwaukee, WI, you will be a key member of the global Information Technology team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Controls & Compliance. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Global Cybersecurity Control Framework, helping ensure systems and processes meet objectives for confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You’ll also contribute to the IT Compliance Program, assisting in the assessment and monitoring of SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs). As a subject matter expert, you’ll advise internal teams and third-party partners on the consistent application of IT controls, and support IT projects through risk assessments and the delivery of compliance documentation.

You’ll be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of both cybersecurity and SOX controls through monitoring, testing, and reporting activities. This includes working closely with IT control owners, finance governance, internal audit, and external audit teams to assess control design and operational performance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. This dynamic role blends technical depth with strategic oversight and requires strong collaboration across IT, business, and audit functions to help ensure a secure and compliant global IT landscape.

· Support the Global Cybersecurity Control Framework by helping ensure controls are properly designed, implemented, and operating effectively to mitigate IT risks across systems, applications, and infrastructure.

· Contribute to the SOX ITGC program by assessing controls related to financial reporting systems, identifying gaps, and recommending remediation strategies.

· Plan and execute cybersecurity control testing and monitoring, including risk assessments, control walkthroughs, and evidence reviews.

· Assist in the remediation of control deficiencies by identifying root causes, coordinating with global teams to implement corrective actions, and participating in follow-up testing to validate resolution.

· Provide guidance and training to global IT and business teams on cybersecurity control requirements and best practices.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure consistent application of cybersecurity controls across projects and operational processes.

· Participate in IT initiatives by defining control standards for new systems and technologies, and serving as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity and compliance.

· Prepare and deliver reports on cybersecurity and SOX compliance to management, internal audit, and external auditors.

 

 

Key Ingredients:

 

· You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or related STEM field OR equivalent experience

· You bring 1 to 3 years of experience in IT audit, compliance, or controls assessment.

· You’ve worked in SAP environments and have a moderate understanding of SAP Security concepts.

· You’re familiar with IT compliance domains and control frameworks such as SOX, PCI, CIS, and NIST CSF.

· You pay close attention to detail and maintain consistency when working with complex topics.

· You communicate clearly and effectively with leaders and peers across various teams.

· You take ownership of your work, act with integrity, and follow through on commitments.

· You enjoy tackling challenges and are eager to learn and grow through project work.

· You collaborate well with others and build strong working relationships.

· You may hold certifications such as CISA or have experience with audit frameworks, which is a plus.

Pay and Benefits:

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $71,000.00 - $93,200.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
