The Headlines: 

In the role of Project Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the NA-Technology team. The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing global or local, medium-high complexity projects, and or work-streams on large global programs to achieve business objectives and deliver business benefits. Ensuring that issues and risks are identified and managed and escalated appropriately, and objectives are achieved within budget, on-time and to required quality.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Plays the lead project management role on 1-2 global or regional, medium-high complexity projects. 
  • Leads 1-2 project teams; allocating and monitoring tasks and appraising individual performance on own projects. 
  • Manages project(s) following PMO methodology; create and manage project plan, identifies appropriate deliverables and project resources, and identifies, tracks, and escalates issues and risks as needed. 
  • Monitors & controls project team resources, revenue & capital costs against own project budget & facilitates management of expectations of all project stakeholders.
  • Responsible for ensuring informative and action-oriented project communications are created and distributed to project stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree
  • You have at least 4 years working experience in information technology or related business management experience
  • Travel will be required – circumstances will vary based on requirements – Estimate 25%.
  • Broadly skilled in information & communications technology. Has knowledge of relevant development life-cycles and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Progress Reporting, Project Planning and Control Techniques.
  • Proficient in Project Management, Project Risk Management.
  • Accountable for results.
  • Possesses analysis and decision-making skills and an enterprise mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses ability to influence project team members to drive deliverables to completion; must work confidently with IT leadership.
  • Project management certification such as PMP is a plus.
