The Headlines:
In the role of Financial Analyst working in Milwaukee you will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) team in the Order to Cash tower. This person will provide finance support to various functions within, and outside finance not limited to but including month end close, budgeting, planning/forecasting, reporting, and analysis in a variety of areas.
This role reports to the Team Lead, Accounts Receivable and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Responsibilities:
The GBS Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst is responsible for the following Order to Cash (OTC) activities but not limited to:
Daily:
- Perform final review of distributor claims in CRM and ensure proper approvals and support are obtained and price conditions align properly with the correct accounting for each claim type.
- Work with Distributors, Customer Service and the Breweries to ensure distributor claims, transfers are completed and paid properly and timely in the CRM system. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will identify and assist with system enhancements and business processes.
- Perform daily reviews of non-sufficient funds notifications, work with distributors and customers to ensure collection of past due balances
- Perform daily invoicing activities for customers ensuring beer shipments are appropriately billed.
- Collections efforts on customers over 60 day past due
- Help internal and external customers with Order To Cash questions and problem resolution
- Audit distributor reimbursements processed through the BeerMate tool
- Ensure follow-ups are performed routinely for open and unresolved issues
- Manage and coordinate AR side of product destructions (risk mediations)
- Prepare and review UCC filing process and ensure UCC filings are maintained and current for all distributors
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and internal controls are in place and followed
- Work with Third party auditors to ensure all SOX compliance audits are complete and timely
Monthly:
- Prepare monthly AR balance sheet account reconciliations
- Perform monthly journal entries
- Review balance sheet accounts and ensure customer records are complete before closing the ledger
- Prepare monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will also be responsible for being the back-up duties for the FA, Team Lead, and Cash Application Coordinator.
The Other Qualifications:
- Preferred - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 3 years financial analyst experience with accounting and AR experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls as it relates Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury and contract compliance.
- Collections experience
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups), Powerpoint, Outlook, SAP or a proven ability to learn new systems.
