The Headlines:

As a Distribution Intern you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns.  The internship is a full-time summer position from May 5 - August 8 (Canada interns) and May 28 - August 8 (U.S. interns).

 

Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.

 

You will be part of the Supply Chain – Distribution organization. You will assist in the management of transportation and warehouse providers, optimization of freight routings, third party information systems data integration, financial modeling and reporting. In this role, it will be critical to drive value creation through cost efficiency, simplification, standardization and administrative automation.  You will work closely with customer service analysts, warehouse and transportation managers, financial analysts, and transportation and warehouse service providers.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of third-party transportation and warehouse providers with data-driven conversations that drive operational efficiency improvements.
  • Identification and development of routing synergies that reduce cost, improve delivery reliability and/or increase the velocity of product.
  • Distribution network financial modeling.
  • Integration of Molson Coors electronic data interchange with third-party providers.
  • Enhancement of the Molson Coors international transportation security manual.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or another relevant field. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience in computer programming, database management and computer modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Drive and a bias for action
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
