The Headlines:   

In the role of Director, Procurement- IT/G&A, working in Milwaukee, WI. you will be part of procurement team. You will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the purchasing strategy for IT/G&A, managing a in purchasing, operations, and logistics, and ensuring all employees and processes meet the Molson’s standards and designations for work quality.   

 

This position reports to VP, Procurement, and works closely Work with IT, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders on Supplier Relationship Management activities.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of 4-8 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations 
  • Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term sourcing strategies for IT and G&A spend, including market and industry analysis, sourcing, negotiations, process improvements and demand management to drive in $8-10M in annual cost improvements on a baseline spend of ~$600M
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management activities with IT and G&A suppliers to drive optimal supplier performance and encourage supplier innovation
  • Support financial planning and reporting processes for IT and G&A Spend, including Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Plans and efficiency or cost savings metrics
  • Develop, execute and/or support Indirect related projects that bring innovation, productivity and/ or other process improvements
  • Provide people development and transformational leadership to all direct and indirect staff as well as collaborate and influence stakeholders on Indirect Spend

The Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and 10 or more years of relevant procurement experience
  • Advanced procurement skills including category management, negotiation, cost model development and supplier relationship management strategies
  • Experience working at large CPG company, preferably in the beverage industry
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
