The Director of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Solutions will be responsible for driving an AI strategy forward in alignment with MCBC’s AI ambition. This requires close collaboration with the AI Governance organization as well as leaders in the organization looking for AI solutions. This role will help establish a level of AI Literacy in the organization and bring an understanding to the power and yet also the concerns of AI.
Outside of AI Literacy is the delivery of the Data Science and AI services and solutions. As a Director of an enterprise program, this role are accountable for leading a team of managers and professionals to deliver Data Science and AI services and solutions. This is done by creating frameworks and processes to leverage Data Science and AI technologies throughout the organization. Moreover, it will be to cultivate a learning and development environment within the team to continue to pipeline new talent into this rapidly evolving field of AI. Continuous talent development not only helps to retain the knowledge capital in the organization but also ensures products developed and delivered to the organize continue to deliver value.
This role requires constant collaboration with our IT VPs and Product Managers to identify and close opportunities for business growth, supporting the terms and conditions of the delivery. A strategic focus is on enabling joint roadmap development around the delivery of solutions, ensuring high quality delivery and driving financial performance.

What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement the AI and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Stakeholder Partnership – Partner with the data analytics team and other business and technology stakeholders in the organization. Communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives, gaining buy-in and support from senior management, business units, and other stakeholders. Understand business requirements and develop AI and analytics solutions that meet their needs. Provide guidance on data-driven decision-making and standard processes.
- Performance Measurement and Optimization: Define key performance indicators (important metrics) to measure the effectiveness and impact of AI and analytics initiatives. Continuously supervise and optimize models and algorithms to improve accuracy and performance.
Key Ingredients:

- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Statistics or related field required
- You have at least 10-15 years experience in leading teams.
- You have 8+ years of demonstrated experience working in a data intensive environment and translating business needs into data requirements (experience with SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Machine Learning and AI).
- You have an understanding of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, fairness, visibility, and explain ability.
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $168,700.00 - $221,400.00 (posting salary range) + 25% target short term incentive + target long term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
