In the role of Data Scientist working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Data Science & AI Solutions team within Information Technology (IT).  You will combine skills in computer science, mathematics, statistics, and will use domain knowledge to extract valuable insights from data, ultimately helping MCBC innovate and drive business growth. The Data Scientist operates at a high degree of technical expertise, developing data & analytical products for the foundation of capabilities at MCBC. This role will be responsible for using Data Science methods and technology to drive data-driven decision-making.

This position reports to the Data Science Manager and works closely with data scientists, product owners, and other developers on a cross-functional scrum team building Data Science & AI Products. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and helping design, build and support scalable solutions using Data Science tools. Additionally, you will participate in a broader community of practice around data & AI, using your skills to help develop AI & data literacy within the community.

What You'll be Brewing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and GenAI to solve complex business problems.                
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.                    
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.                         
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data science and apply them to improve existing processes and models.                          
  • Improve the knowledge base of the AI & data science community of practice developing and sharing resources like job aids and best practices and assisting less experienced analysts                      
  • Communicate findings and insights through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.                         

Key Ingredients:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field OR equivalent experience
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years experience in advanced data mining, model development, and other related skills
  • You are proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Pandas, NumPy).                                     
  • You are strong mathematical, quantitative, statistical, and data analysis skills                                     
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.                                  
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $92,100.00 - $120,900.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
