The Headlines
The Associate Manager of Procurement Center of Excellence is responsible for supporting the Procurement organization through management of the processes and technologies within Ariba that enable the procurement activities of the organization. The Associate Manager oversees maintenance of existing Ariba modules and provides both process and technical expertise to improve and/or develop processes to maximize efficiencies within the tools. This includes Ariba modules that enable Molson Coors to conduct business with our suppliers over the Ariba Network through invoice automation and online catalogs, as well as spend analysis, requisitioning, purchasing approvals, sourcing, and PO/contracts.
The Associate Manager will work closely with suppliers and members of the procurement organization, as well as stakeholders in other departments such as IT, Global Business Services, Finance, and Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages 5 - 7 processes used by the Procurement organization, internal stakeholders (across the entire company), and external suppliers. Processes are either internally owned within Procurement or are co-owned with other stakeholder groups such as Finance or IT.
- Oversees stakeholder and supplier interaction with the processes, and partners with them to ensure adherence to processes, drive change, identify opportunities, and ensure value realization of tools/systems.
- A center of process innovation including procurement digitization. Refines existing processes and develops new processes for changing business conditions or efficiency requirements.
- Is knowledgeable in the technologies used in the relevant processes and provides support and training in these technologies to procurement and internal stakeholders across the organization.
The Other Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in procurement processes and management methodologies.
- Experience with procurement technologies (SAP, contract management systems, e-sourcing systems, supplier management systems and others).
- Procurement certification, Process certifications, technology certifications (Preferred)
