The Headlines:

In the role of Manager, Advanced Analytics based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for driving a product team towards delivering high-quality advanced analytics solutions that meet business objectives. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communications skills. The work involves implementing the team vision and strategic initiatives through the following: collaborating with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements to ensure the team delivers the most impactful analytics solutions; evaluating and preparing datasets for use by data science teams and data analysts; and breaking work down into steps to build sustainable data products.

 

This role is expected to build strong relationships with IT business partners, data scientists, and other key resources that rely on data and ensure that data is made available to all functions that can benefit from it. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, and works closely with a variety of internal/external stakeholders.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and implementation of analytical solutions leveraging marketing and consumer data.
  • Contribute to the thought leadership and solution design of advanced analytical solutions to meet our business needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand each business areas strategy, vision, and roadmap to set shared goals to plan and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with business and management stakeholders to build out and execute Agile project plans that deliver on shared business goals.
  • Develop effective and succinct communication of complex methodologies and insights to senior business leaders through presentation design and communication skills.
  • Manage an Agile team, of both internal employees as well as consultants from third-party service providers, using SAFe methodologies to support the analytical product lifecycle.
  • Build business analytics knowledge, experience & capabilities through on-the-job and external learning to become a data thought leader at Molson Coors.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (functional and technical) to colleagues such as Enterprise Architects, Information Technology Business Partners, and Business Report Owners/Expert Users.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the lifecycle of building an advanced analytics solution through code reviews, ad hoc analyses, exploratory data research, applying critical thinking, understanding data engineering best practices, ML and AI design principles, and BI solution data development.

 

Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Finance, Computer Science, Business, etc.).
  • You have experience working with large datasets building, managing, and interpreting complex, predictive statistical or econometric models.
  • You have a strong understanding of machine learning, AI, and other advanced analytics techniques.
  • You have experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe Agile, Scrum or Kanban. (Project management certification, like PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner, is a plus.)
  • You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • You have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influence management skills.
  • You have a proven track record of implementing or overseeing the design, development and deployment of a business intelligence product or an analytical solution.
  • You have previous experience managing indirect reports is a plus.
  • You possess advanced knowledge and/or technical skills in several of the following applications: Business Objects, MS Excel (including Macros), SAP Business Objects Data Services, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Informatica, Salesforce.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • You are adaptable and resilient in the face of changing priorities and challenges.
  • You have a passion for driving innovation and delivery value through advanced analytics solutions.
