The Headlines:    

In the role of Regional Sales Manager – Wine & Spirits you will be part of the Wine and Spirits Division of MolsonCoors Beverage company. You will be responsible for Molson Coors Wine & Spirits portfolio performance in the region (distribution, volume & velocity). Ensuring alignment on annual goals and plan between W&S and RVP, GMs, RCD and SRLs. Provide actionable business updates, insights & selling stories for the DSO & regional chain team. 

  

This position reports to National Sales Manager

  

 

The Responsibilities: 

 

  • Work with W&S brand, strategy and analytics team to ensure robust Wine & Spirits annual sales plans in the region and full support of our distributors for its flawless execution (providing selling stories, tools and support with retailer sell in throughout the year)
  • Lead W&S regional chain sales efforts (large and small formats) in coordination with National Sales Manager and MCBC regional chain sales teams.
  • Manage execution of local programming and interaction with MCBC GM and DSE’s to deliver business results.
  • Point person for the region ensuring connectivity between the W&S and DSO
  • Collaborate with Distributors, Regional MC Teams and MC Distributor Development Team to drive W&S share of mind, portfolio distribution footprint and volume.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Insights, Shopper Marketing & Regional teams to strengthen brand presence and velocity on regional and national retailers.  

 

 

  

  

The Other Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of a bachelors’ degree or Masters’ degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience; preferred experience in alcoholic beverages
  • Prior experience managing distributors and/or control states
  • Preferred experience developing annual and multi-year sales plans
  • Prior experience managing distributors & calling on chain accounts
  • Preferred experience managing a team
  • W&S intrinsic knowledge or passion
