The Headlines:
Coordinates and coaches operational teams/leaders to ensure the facility’s safety education, enforcement, engineering, behavior and cultural focus. Coaches World Class Supply Chain principles and best practices to drive performance through process and continuous improvement for safety. Leads problem solving with teams and across multiple departments to help improve safety performance. Promotes and maintains MolsonCoors’ safety policies, procedures, and accident prevention programs to help prevent injuries, property damage, chemical incidents and near misses. Develops tools and systems to improve safety performance across the brewery. Leads and guides teams focused on specific safety issues, incident investigations, facility gas detection systems, programs, and other safety gaps or improvement opportunities. Other duties as assigned by Safety Manger.
Maintains and ensures compliance with federal, state (OSHA) regulations and other regulatory requirements, as well as all MolsonCoors policies, programs. Asist with all MolsonCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality.
The Responsibilities:
- Leads the development, implementation and communication of safety programs, policies and procedures
- Maintains and ensures compliance with all safety regulatory requirements
- Maintains company safety policies and incident prevention programs for the purpose of prevention of injuries and near misses
- Coaches and facilitates teams to assist in achievement of safety related goals
- Enables LOTOTO through governance and accuracy of the program.
- Supports team performance and employee engagement related to safety
- Coach WCSC principles and represent the EHS Pillar through coaching Daily Managfement Systems (EHS Trigger, QRP, JSA, Safety Maps, BOS, etc.) at Trio and Department DDS meetings.
- Ensures all fixed and personal gas detection systems are maintained.
- Support projects to manage risk through design, planning and construction phases.
- Other duties as assigned by Safety Manger.
The Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing leading and improving safety performance and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety and health national industry standards.
- Ability to coach and mentor employees in safe work practices and procedures at all levels of the brewery.
- Multiple department experience and/or sufficient working knowledge to represent multiple departments. Must be able to assess and propose solutions for hazard elimination and workpractice improvements.
- Previous Safety starpoint experience, Safety culture team experience, HazMat team experience or the like preferred.
- Basic computer program knowledge (e.g.: word, excel, powerpoint)

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $37.15
