Crafted Highlights
In the role of Safety Lead working in the Golden, CO Brewery you will be part of the Golden Valley Environmental Health and Safety Team. You will coordinate and coach operational teams/leaders to ensure the facility’s safety education, enforcement, engineering, behavior and cultural focus. Additionally, you will coach World Class Supply Chain principles and best practices to drive performance through process and continuous improvement for safety.
 
 
You will lead problem solving with teams and across multiple departments to help improve safety performance. Promote and maintain MolsonCoors’ safety policies, procedures and accident prevention programs to help prevent injuries, property damage, chemical incidents and near misses. Develop tools and systems to improve safety performance across the brewery. Lead and guide teams focused on specific safety issues, incident investigations, facility gas detection systems, programs, and other safety gaps or improvement opportunities.
 
What You’ll Be Brewing
  • Leads the development, implementation and communication of safety programs, policies and procedures ·
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with all safety regulatory requirements
  • Maintains company safety policies and incident prevention programs for the purpose of prevention of injuries and near misses
  • Coaches and facilitates teams to assist in achievement of safety related goals
  • Enables LOTOTO through governance and accuracy of the program
  • Supports team performance and employee engagement related to safety
  • Coach WCSC principles and represent the EHS Pillar through coaching Daily Managfement Systems (EHS Trigger, QRP, JSA, Safety Maps, BOS, etc.) at Trio and Department DDS meetings
  • Ensures all fixed and personal gas detection systems are maintained.
  • Support projects to manage risk through design, planning and construction phases.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr Safety Manger 
 
Key Ingredients
  • Bachelors degree in safety, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Professional certification related to EHS preferred – ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing leading and improving safety and health performance and regulatory compliance
  • Professional level knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety and health national industry standards
  • Experience coaching and mentoring operational leaders regarding Safety
  • Ability to train employees in safe work practices, procedures and the like
  • Multiple department experience and/or sufficient working knowledge to represent multiple departments. Must be able to assess and propose solutions for risk reduction
  • Work first shift, but able to work nights and weekends as needed (call schedule)
  • Basic computer program knowledge (e.g.: SharePoint, Forms, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $108,100.00 - $141,900.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
