Crafted Highlights:
In the role of Quality Technician at the RMMC Ends plant in Golden Colorado, you will be part of the quality assurance team. Our quality team ensures our customers get high quality product that functions as intended. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is creating exceptional product, while reducing HFI spoilage, and meeting cost goals for Molson Coors.
This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager – Ends.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Leads by example and coaches others to comply with all department and company safety rules.
- Skilled in working relationships, team building and communication with all levels of plant personnel, as well as being comfortable in cross-functional teams.
- Understands the basics of quality systems including special testing, in process checks, data analysis/review, and HFI processes.
- Can follow standard operating procedures, as well as suggest improvements to existing standards.
- Work as a self-motivated technician with minimal supervision, always focusing towards improving product quality through well executed strategy and procedures.
- Collaborate with production and tech services to reduce unplanned quality adjustments using planned downtime windows and a proactive approach and mindset.
Key Ingredients:
- Experience in working in a cross functional team environment, preferably a production environment.
- Must be able to use data to prioritize quality work, including trending control charts and spotting trends.
- The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- The successful candidate would possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft office suite.
- The successful candidate would possess basic SAP skills, including opening and closing work orders and investigating previous work performed.
Preferred Requirements (Knowledge and Experience Requirements):
- Experience in developing and delivering quality training and coaching to others on the production floor.
- Knowledgeable in SOP creation, SOP maintenance, and implementing standards.
- Knowledgeable in basic statistical control processes and experience using statistics to proactively trend data.
- Knowledge and experience in can end manufacturing.
