In the role of Maintenance Technician working in Golden, CO, you are responsible for ensuring reliable operation of production equipment through preventive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, and timely repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and adhering to all safety standards.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement to prevent equipment failures and restore machinery to proper operating condition.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective components; recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Installation and Setup: Support installation, upgrades, and testing of new or modified equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately document maintenance activities in SAP, including labor hours, parts usage, detailed work descriptions, and follow‑up actions.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain an orderly work environment, including LOTOTO, confined space, and hot work requirements.
- Technical Support: Interpret blueprints, manuals, and operational documentation; collaborate with OEMs and subject matter experts as needed.
Key Ingredients:
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in industrial maintenance, preferably in high‑speed manufacturing; can‑making experience strongly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain troubleshooting; experience with gearbox rebuilds, conveyors, palletizers, and related systems.
- Tools and Systems: Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, precision measurement instruments, and basic computer applications, including MS Office and SAP.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
