The Headlines:
In the role of Malting Temporary Worker working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Malting team. You will responsible for prioritizing activities to support all areas of Malting while leveraging team members and with minimal or no supervision. Monitors and troubleshoots all process areas to assure compliance and appropriate decision making within process/recipe parameters. Also, directly involved in communication and problem resolution with all departments, suppliers, customers, and support groups as required to receive barley, make malt, handle and store materials, supply demand, monitor flow, and control inventory.
This role pays $23.50/hour
Schedule: Bi-weekly 4x4 rotation from 5:00am-5:00pm
The Responsibilities:
- Always maintain EH & S awareness and compliance with safety training.
- Directly involved in communication and problem resolution with all departments, suppliers, customers, and support groups as required to receive barley, make malt, handle and store materials, supply demand, monitor flow, and control inventory.
- Verify, correct, and distribute accurate inventory and accounting records, log sheets, scorecards, and other shift paperwork. Reports & documents daily exceptions within appropriate time frames.
- Coordinate flow & track all production support materials, chemicals, etc.
- Performs shift tie-in functions with all shifts daily.
- Assists in department budgeting and department planning.
- Ensures exceptions to weekly crewing schedules are approved by management.
- Leads improvements in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, service, and people.
- Participates in job instruction, training and certification for all individuals working in the Malting.
- Execute & coordinate autonomous maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoots equipment, writes, obtains approvals, and ensure completion work orders.
- Performs CIP & GMP activities tied to CIP procedures and sanitization schedules.
- Uses computer systems to perform tasks.
The Other Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum 21 years of age and have a high school or equivalent diploma

- Experience as Malting in a manufacturing environment and/or working knowledge of Malting operations preferred.

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $23.50
