The Headlines:
In the role of Maintenance Lead working in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Golden Malting team.  You will support the department’s Engineering & Technical Services team in driving and sustaining improved reliability through effective execution of our asset care program and by supporting our hourly maintenance and operations team through our five core values of Putting People First, Being Bold and Decisive, Taking Accountability, Learning Every Day, and Celebrating Together.

 

This position reports to the Manager of Engineering and Technical Services and works closely with the Golden Malting salaried team as well as skilled trade and operational teams.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Safety must be a top priority for you and your teammates. Support world class execution of asset care for Golden Malting through the use of purposefulness in safety tools and processes.
  • Actively participate in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and help execute the daily, weekly, and longer term plans. As needed, this role will be expected to help report updates on priority maintenance tasks, projects and other action items resulting from previous meeting as necessary.
  • Understand the department’s master plan, particularly as it relates to the PM Pillar team, and help to drive positive results against the master plan.
  • Execute the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (MPS) Daily Management System through continuous backlog evaluation and prioritization, facilitating weekly planning and scheduling meetings, engaging team members as needed for their expertise, and effectively utilizing staging areas to organize work for the maintenance team.
  • As needed, liaise with equipment manufacturers, parts vendors, third party service suppliers and contractors to support/execute planned and scheduled maintenance work.
  • Support the Breakdown Elimination (BDE) DMS to help Malting reduce breakdowns and improve overall plant reliability.
  • Support capital project activity as needed/requested by the Engineering and Tech Services Manager.
  • Execute administrative tasks required to effectively manage cash flow as it relates to procurement of materials and services. You manage these tasks in a timely fashion to ensure on-time payment for all purchases.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment.
    Demonstrable evidence of driving initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives
  • You are confident, competent, diplomatic, and professional. You exercise great judgment in initiating, developing, and maintaining excellent business relationships both internal and external to your immediate team.
  •  You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record of delivering results
  • You have knowledge and/or experience of maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn administration of SAP Planning & Scheduling
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn administration of SAP Master Data
  •  Knowledge of or willingness to learn administration of SAP Preventive Maintenance Strategies

Job Posting Salary Range: (US/Colorado) $87,500 - $125,800
