Crafted Highlights:
In the role of Learning & Development (L&D) Technician working in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Human Resources team. You will assist in the development and provide learning resources (i.e. standard operating procedures, job aids, step up card updates, training resources) for manufacturing operations equipment technicians, operators, and crafts. You will be heavily involved in e-learning content and managing the Learning Management System (LMS) including managing employee and contractors’ user profiles, assigning required trainings, and pulling reports.
This position reports to the Manager, L&D and works closely with the L&D Specialist, subject matter experts (SMEs) within their area of responsibility in the brewery to translate technical information into understandable written documents and e-learning courses, and update and record the completion of training and maintaining Skills Competency Acquisition Process (SCAP) data and learning management systems. There may be times that are you required to work “off shift” to best collaborate with brewery SMEs.
What You'll Be Brewing:
- Work with SMEs and leaders to review duties per equipment operations position, assist equipment owners in updating pre-existing standard operating procedure documentation, job aids, and training materials and assist in helping equipment owners understand new documentation, where needed, for an employee to complete their duties successfully.
- Provide on-the-job training (OTJ) as assigned, based on current capabilities and skills.
- Upload and update documentation or information in the Document Library and periodically inventory documentation for relevancy.
- Participate in L&D-related assessments, meetings, or projects as assigned.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) including train employees on accessing information from the LMS, SharePoint, and other learning repositories, assign courses to employees, upload/update and record completion of training, generate/schedule/create reports, partner with GBS to provide troubleshooting expertise to users, execute day-to-day LMS activities, and participate in LMS change management/governance meetings as necessary.
- Serve as the brewery contractor and contingent worker liaison supporting contractor training and security requirements through the LMS. Design, create and post slides for Brewery comms digital screens.
Key Ingredients:
- You have a high school diploma/GED
- You have 1-3 years of experience in learning and development or technical writing
- You have knowledge of packaging, brewing, customer service, or utilities
- You work independently with little supervision in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple, competing priorities, and maintaining attention to detail
- You are proficient in Microsoft Suite products, Sharepoint, and e-learning software and can generate reports and customize data imported from a learning management system (LMS)
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You think creatively about solutions and look for process efficiency opportunities.
