The Headlines:

 

In the role of Part-Time Tour Guide working at the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO,  you will represent Molson Coors as the first face-to-face point of contact with guests of the Coors Brewery Tour.  The employee contributes to the business vision, values and goals of Molson Coors by educating and engaging consumers through assigned duties and tasks within the tour operations area of Visitor Operations.  This includes providing hospitality services and one-on-one interactions, which will ensure a positive, informative, and quality experience that is memorable to all customers. This also includes giving a verbal hour long walking tour to groups of up to 14 people, pouring beer to visitors, explaining our beers and processes, driving tour busses of up to 14 people from our tour parking lot to our brewery while giving the visitors a short verbal tour while driving, changing kegs, moving kegs, working on registers and tablets, working at our onsite employee pub, and working various company events as support staff. The Part Time Tour Representative must be able to react calmly in various situations such as when there are evacuations and it is their responsibility to get their tour group out safetly, when there are medical emergencies, and in general when communicating with the public.

 

As an individual and as a member of a work unit the employee assures customer satisfaction with internal and external customers. The employee anticipates customer needs and determines necessary solutions to provide superior products/services. The ultimate goal is to convert consumers to purchase Molson Coors products.

 

The Part Time Tour Representative must also demonstrate strong leadership capabilities as they contribute to a winning team and culture.

This role can be working inside or outside on any given day from 5:30am-12:30am with the most common shifts from 8am-6pm. We work in all weather conditions outside.

 

 The Responsibilities: 

  • Giving a verbal walking tour to groups of up to 14 people
  • Pouring beer to visitors and explaining our beers and processes
  • Driving tour busses of up to 14 people from our tour parking lot to our brewery
  • Changing kegs 
  • Working at our onsite employee pub

 

The Other Qualifications:

 

  • High School graduate
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be competent at driving
  • Demonstrate strong verbal communication, team work and customer service skills
  • Must be able to walk/stand for duration of shift as well as comfortable sitting for long period of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to project your voice to a group of 14 people
  • Must be able to memorize and deliver a 1 hour script to tour visitors
  • Strong communication skills and leadership skills
  • Must be available Friday’s/Saturday’s/Sundays and holidays with a minimum of 24 hours per week with times ranging from 5:30am-12:30am, part time tour representatives can be scheduled Mondays-Thursdays as well including holidays
