The Headlines

The Beer Delivery Specialist manages beer delivery, tank inventory, and filter operations in support of the weekly packaging schedule. The sterile fill process is maintained through their comprehensive knowledge of H&K filter technology, chemical cleaning, sterilization and sanitization practices, process monitoring and management of both Prime and Waste systems. Quality at the Source and formal documentation is required for the sampling and analysis associated with micro and chemistry requirements. 

  

The Responsibilities: 

  • The Beer Delivery Specialist manages beer delivery, tank inventory, and filter operations in support of the weekly packaging schedule. The sterile fill process is maintained through their comprehensive knowledge of H&K filter technology, chemical cleaning, sterilization and sanitization practices, process monitoring and management of both Prime and Waste systems. Quality at the Source and formal documentation is required for the sampling and analysis associated with micro and chemistry requirements. Additionally, the specialist is required to support all team KPI’s associated with their SPQSCS measures and World Class Supply Chain team initiatives. 
     

  • Responsibilities will include cleaning and sterilizing transfer lines, fill and drop headers, tanks, CO2 and water systems, filters, packaging line startups and pushbacks for beer changes, collecting and reporting sample chemistry results, completing preventative maintenance tasks, pulling and packing filters. 
     

  • The Beer Processing unit uses high pressure systems, steam, ammonia, CO2, and a wide range of chemicals. Various equipment including chillers, H&K filters, storage tanks, pumps, manual taper seat and automatic Tuchenhagen valves are used in the completion of tasks. Use of computer control systems and handheld equipment including DeltaV, SAP, LIMS, PI, ePAC, Microsoft Office suite, Anton Paar alcohol analyzer, Gehaltemeter and Orbisphere dissolved oxygen (DO) and CO2 meters, BioTrace ATP and Daily Cleaning logs are critical in maintaining the quality products within specifications.  
     

  • The specialist works in both hot & cold and wet environments, regular heavy lifting, a great deal of walking, operates forklifts and the use of stairs and man lifts. 
     

  • Specialist contributes to workplace by performing all tasks in accordance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMP, Lock out/Tag Out/Try Out (LOTOTO) safety rules, codes, policies, regulations and Confined Space Entry policies. Supports maintenance and contractors in all planned and breakdown work. 
     

  • Specialist works alone on assigned weekly task, must be self-motivated, work in a team environment, respond to nonconformance’s, escalate appropriately, make responsible decisions, offering solutions and communicating results when confronted with exceptions without supervision. 
     

  • Specialists must be familiar with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF and WCM practices and their philosophies. Specialists must understand MCMW, the “how’s” and the team’s impact on the Golden Brewing Strategy. 
     

The Other Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 

  • Must have an excellent safety record and be able to regularly lift over 50 lbs. 

  • Favorable performance review, no written warnings in the past 12 mos. 

  • Able to work in a team environment. 

  • GMP and sterile fill manufacturing knowledge 

  • Perform all Quality at the source analysis to include sterile sampling, ATP Bioluminescence verification, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), CO2, temperature, supporting documentation, and logging of data in the Daily Cleaning Log. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot production upsets and issues. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of flow dynamics, volume control in a closed system or experience in a food/beverage plant or other production environment. 

  • Communicate with Brewing and Packaging leadership current status, exceptions to delivery, and problem-solving activities to non-conformances. 

  • Candidate must be able to perform independently all transfer line, tank rinsing, fill and drop header sterilizations, filter processing, filter startups and packaging line pushbacks, sterilization of DA water and CO2 systems, prime and waste tank management. 

  • Must be able to use Microsoft office applications and have capability to learn several different computer applications, SAP, PI ProcessBook, ePAC, DeltaV 

  • Have confident knowledge of work area processes to include steam, ammonia (NH3), CO2, waste and water streams to respond to Utilities, Maintenance, and PWTP alerts and requests for support.

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $34.75
