The Headlines:   

In the role of AC Golden Marketing Manager in Golden, CO you will be responsible for leading marketing, portfolio management and brand strategy for the AC Golden brand Family. Additionally, the position will work closely with the Sales Director to align on marketing and programming in support of monthly sales goals and objectives with distributors. This role reports directly to the AC Golden General Manager and is a part of the leadership team which includes the GM, Sales Director and Brewmaster/Operations Manager.  

 

The Responsibilities: 

Performance/Talent Management (10%) 

  • Responsible for all people management-related processes, including staffing, performance management and discipline, training, communications/team meetings, etc. for the Marketing Assistant role 

Brand Management (70%) 

  • Develop brand and marketing strategies and tactics to support profitable growth of AC Golden brand family 

  • Develop and own the brand look and feel from planning to execution tools and resources, to include packaging, social, media, and innovation 

  • Actively participate in building, communicating and delivering enabling the execution against all Annual Business Plans for brand family 

  • Develop briefs and manage agency relationships to ensure clear objectives are set, key milestones are met and all deliverables and timing are achieved. 

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships that support branding and programming. 

  • Manage and deliver annual marketing budget to support growth of AC Golden. 

Sales Support & Innovation (20%) 

  • Work with sales team to develop and roll out standards of performance for brand family by channel 

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to ensure execution across online beer platform(s) 

  • Lead and manage brand merchandise selection, sourcing and online business. 

  • Collaborate on innovation pipeline with the GM and brewing team. Responsible for monitoring trends and applying learnings to portfolio expansion. 

 

 

The Other Qualifications:       

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or, better yet, an MBA.  

  • You have at least 3 years of marketing experience, including customer marketing. Beverage industry experience strongly preferred within an Agency or CPG company 

  • High level of personal accountability/results orientation 

  • Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal) 

  • Strong analytical skills (Causal analysis, pricing, distribution analysis). 

  • Strong presentation and influencing skills (personal influence and people management). 

  • Strong marketing/advertising development and budget/project management. 

  • Experience managing/negotiating various forms of media (radio, Print, OOH) preferred.
